Are you new to social networking?

Many people who have never considered it before are slowly coming around and joining one network or another. At first glance it can appear intimidating. For those who are a little more private the idea of uttering your every thought and personal event on a social network for everyone to read seems crazy.

Before treading in unchartered waters it would be best to ask yourself why you are considering joining a social network. Keep in mind that there over well over 200 social networks world wide and they are not all the same.

Social Networks vary in that some are aimed for certain age groups, some are for specific interest groups, some are for employment and entrepreneur connecting, etc.
