Medifast is a meal-delivery service. The Medifast diet plan is based on the use of a structured meal plan featuring Medifast Meals, which are nutritionally designed with a combination of protein and carbohydrates. Medifast Meals come in individual packets that are mixed with water and are micro waved or refrigerated, and are available in a wide variety of foods and flavors, including shakes, soups, stew, chili, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, fruit drinks, iced teas, hot beverages, bars, puddings, pretzel sticks, and cheese puffs.

Medifast for Diabetes – Medifast also helps to control weight for people with type 2 diabetes.

Medifast offers a line of products specially designed to meet the needs of people with Type 2 diabetes called Medifast Plus for Diabetics. These nutritionally complete supplements are designed for use as meal replacements in conjunction with a well-balanced meal plan. Medifast Plus for Diabetics Shakes contain less than six (6) grams of sugar and ten (10) or fewer total carbohydrates per serving. Medifast Plus for Diabetics can be used as a supplement in a weight loss program or in addition to a diabetes meal plan.
