There are several website available regarding the rights of the elderly. The rights of the elderly is such a concern that much effort has been made to protect them. Elder law is a relatively new specialty and the term elder law is a legal term coined to cover an area of legal practice that places an emphasis on those issues that affect the growing aging population.

The National Consumer Law Center receives funding under Title IV of the Older Americans Act to improve the quality and accessibility of legal assistance provided to vulnerable older Americans with consumer-related issues.
