This information can help older persons and their families access home and community-based services like transportation, meals, home care, and caregiver support services.

The U.S. Health and Human Services offer a website called Eldercare.gov that can provide a wealth of information regarding elder care.

Another helpful website that provides useful information is the Administration on Aging website. This site also provides a listing of off-site resources to connect older persons, caregivers and professionals to important federal, national, and local programs.

One more government site that provides helpful information is Medicare.gov. They provide a nursing home checklist, a guide to choosing a nursing home, nursing home comparison, rights as a nursing home resident and other helpful contacts.
