Air Sickness - Prevention of Air Sickness
Dread Air Travel?
Do you dread air travel due to air sickness?
Air sickness is not a pleasant experience and for some can cause an absolute dread of flying.
Common signs and symptoms of air sickness include:
- Nausea
- Loss of Appetite
- Vomiting
- Cold Sweats
- Problems Concentrating
- Drowsiness
- Headaches
With a little effort can be avoided by taking the following precautions:
1. Take anti-motion sickness medications (unfortunately may cause other side effects)
2. Eat and drink sparingly before getting on the plane
3. Avoid moving around too much while on board
4. Sit in a seat by the window and look outside.
5. Choose a seat over the wings where the motion is minimized or as close to the front as possible.
